StoreRuler practical guide

First setup with your WooCommerce store

A short, practical starting point for your store operations. This guide prioritizes store data and permissions while you work.

1. Before setup

Back up the code and database of your working WordPress and WooCommerce installation. Check current product requirements in the package setup screen. Use a separate staging environment for your first run where possible.

2. Start with your existing store

StoreRuler is a store management plugin. You do not need to open a different store or migrate products to another platform. Existing WooCommerce products, orders and customer data are used in your installation.

3. Enable only what you need

Review online orders, product lists and the daily overview first. Compare Pro if you need retail sales, stock counts, purchasing or B2B. You do not have to enable every capability on the first day.

4. Try the team workflow

Check owner and staff tasks with the right permissions. If you use the cashier role, find a test product and inspect the workflow without taking a real payment. Clean up test records and adopt it gradually in the live store.

Compare Lite and Pro to choose the plan that fits your store.
