StoreRuler Pro is a separate, paid plugin from Eren Labs, sold through Freemius. It runs instead of the free StoreRuler plugin, on the same data and settings. After buying, install the Pro ZIP file and enter your license key under StoreRuler → Settings → License. A yearly license covers 1, 3 or 5 sites; a monthly one, one site.
The free version and the three paid plans
The free plugin on WordPress.org has no time limit and needs no account. The paid plans add tools on top of it, and each plan has everything of the plan before it.
- Pro, for stores that sell online: manual and phone orders, returns and order editing, payments and collections, campaigns, cart reminders, gift cards and store credit, Google and Meta product feeds, bulk editing, an SEO Center, AI Studio with your own OpenAI account, reports, team roles and automations.
- Plus, for shops with a till, stock and suppliers: Quick Sale and a cash register, purchase orders and suppliers, stock counts with barcodes, landed cost and profit, files for your accountant, and sales on account with customer statements.
- Business, for stores that also sell to dealers: dealer groups and wholesale prices, quotes and prices on request, payment terms and credit limits per customer, and receivables.

Prices and sites
Prices are in US dollars. Yearly costs ten times the monthly price. A yearly license for 3 sites costs twice the one-site yearly price, and one for 5 sites three times. Monthly licenses are for one site.

You choose the number of sites in the checkout. Local installs on your own computer do not count. There is no trial; instead you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase. The license then ends, and your records stay.
Buy and install StoreRuler Pro
- In the free plugin, open Upgrade to Pro in the StoreRuler admin menu, or go to the pricing page. Choose a plan and the billing period. For a site administrator, the plan buttons open Freemius's checkout.
- After paying, download StoreRuler Pro from your purchase email or from Freemius's customer portal.
- In WordPress, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin, choose the StoreRuler Pro ZIP file, then click Install Now and Activate.
- Open StoreRuler → Settings → License. Under Activate a license you bought, paste the License key from your purchase email and click Activate license.
- If Freemius asks you to confirm by email, click the button in the email it sent to the license owner, then click Finish activation.
Only a site administrator can change the license. Activating it sends Freemius the name and email address of the WordPress user who does it and the site's details, such as its address and versions. Your orders and customers are never sent.
Manage the license
The License tab shows your plan, its dates, the price, the next payment and how many sites are in use. It also holds every license task:
- Upgrade to a higher plan: the unused part of your current period comes off the price, and the new plan's billing period starts that day.
- Move to a lower plan, or switch between monthly and yearly billing. Freemius shows the price and what changes before you pay.
- Turn off automatic renewal: no more payments are taken, and your plan works until the end of the period you paid for.
- Move the license to another site: click Deactivate on this site, then activate the same key on the new site.
- Open the customer portal to update the payment card and download invoices, and Check the license again after a change.
When a license ends
StoreRuler never deletes your work when a license ends.
- For 14 more days everything keeps working, and StoreRuler shows the date this period ends.
- After that, the Pro tools become view-only: you can still view, export, finish and undo work, but not start new work there.
- Automations, cart reminders, review-request emails and product feed updates pause.
- Every free feature keeps working in full, and gift cards, store credit and returns keep working for your customers.
- When you renew, everything is back at once, with your records as you left them.

Does a local install on my computer use up a site?
